Emergency Rental Assistance

Low and low-to-moderate income families have been negatively impacted by the unprecedented loss of jobs and reduction in income due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The inability to pay rent threatens housing stability for tenants in addition to the as well financial viability of owners and operators of affordable housing.  To address this challenge, the City of Toledo, NeighborWorks TOLEDO Region will utilize funding to establish a Rental Assistance Fund to provide housing stability for vulnerable families. 

The portal for Emergency Rental Assistance applications is closed as of September 1st, 2021; however, if you are experiencing housing instability or have received an eviction notice please contact us here to connect with our Financial Opportunity Center.
