Turn off your lights when you leave a room or the house.
Unplug the small appliances or devices you're not using or charging
Wash your clothes together in cold water instead of hot
Don't leave your refrigerator empty
What is the community connections program?
The Community Connections Program aims to help you reduce your electric bill and keep your home more comfortable during any season.
Depending on your electricity usage, Community Connections could provide you with an in-home energy use evaluation and energy-saving home improvements including:
Sealing air leaks in attic walls or foundations
Attic and/or wall insulation
Appliance (including refrigerator and/or freezer) testing and possible replacement
Electric water heater inspection
Replacement of inefficient light bulbs and power-strips
Specific improvements will be determined during an energy audit performed in your home after your your application is processed and approved. All services are provided at no cost to you as the applicant.
