The Toledo Healthy Homes Training Center provides workforce training to prepare students for successful careers in the Weatherization, Lead Abatement, and Healthy Homes industries. With accredited training provided our partners, participants can earn credentials, gain hands-on experience and utilize their knowledge, skills, and certifications to enter these fields and advance their careers.
The Toledo Healthy Homes Training Center
The Toledo Healthy Homes Training Center (THHTC) is dedicated to providing workforce training and education to support trainees in the weatherization, lead abatement, clean energy, and healthy homes industries. With rapid and continued growth, these fields each have a large demand for both newly trained and more experienced employees, and the THHTC offers comprehensive programs aimed at equipping individuals for various roles within these industries.
THHTC goes beyond the typical training environment by offering a comprehensive range of resources. Financial coaching is available on-site, provided by the NeighborWorks® Toledo Region Financial Opportunity Center® program. These services empower trainees with financial knowledge and skills, ensuring that they are not only well-prepared for career growth but also equipped to achieve financial independence.
About OSHA 10 Training
*OSHA 10 Training is a 10-hour safety course designed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to educate workers on workplace safety and health standards. It covers a range of topics including job site safety, worker’s rights, and how to identify, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards. The training is primarily intended for entry-level workers in construction and general industry.

About Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Training
*This course is essential to workers in every trade within the construction industry. If anyone disturbs more than 6 square feet of lead-based paint on the inside of a home or other facility occupied by children, or more than 20 square feet on the exterior, he or she must have an EPA RRP license from an accredited training facility
