In its first year, our Toledo Police Next Door program awarded seven Toledo Police Officers $25,000 each in down payment assistance. These funds empowered them to establish strong roots in the community outside of their regular work hours, strengthening the relationship between the Toledo Police Force and our community. The officers' stories show their deep passion for the well-being of their families which in turn reveals their motivation to serve their neighbors.
